Standing Committees of the Grama Panchayat
Finance Standing Committee
The Finance Standing Committee oversees the financial affairs of the Grama Panchayat. Its major responsibilities include budget preparation, revenue and expenditure management, efficient utilization of financial resources, and financial planning for development projects.
Development Standing Committee
The Development Standing Committee coordinates the planning and implementation of various development projects, including infrastructure development, agricultural advancement, employment generation, environmental protection, and other development activities in the village.
Welfare Standing Committee
The Welfare Standing Committee plays an important role in formulating and implementing programmes for the social security and welfare of women, children, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities.
Health and Education Standing Committee
The Health and Education Standing Committee coordinates and monitors public health, sanitation activities, disease prevention programmes, the functioning of health institutions, educational development, and school development activities.
